Affiliate Program FAQ
1. How do I sign up for the Travelers Freak Affiliate Program?
Signing up is easy! Click on the “Affiliates” link at the top of the site, then select “Affiliate Registration” from the dropdown. If referred by an existing affiliate, use their referral link or enter their “Nice Name” during registration. Your application will be in pending status until approved.
2. How much can I earn as an affiliate?
The Travelers Freak commission structure is as follows:
$25 for each direct sale made through your affiliate link (your personal sales).
$10 for sales made by sub-affiliates who joined through your link (Tier 1).
$5 for sales made by affiliates referred by your sub-affiliates (Tier 2).
In addition to these commission sales, you can earn additional bonuses based on your team’s performance. We also offer recurring commissions for subscription renewals, as long as the customer is linked to your affiliate account.
3. When and how do I get paid?
Commissions are paid monthly through PayPal, so please ensure your PayPal email is up-to-date in your Affiliate Dashboard. We process payments 14 days after the sale is made, once the referred customer has either activated their subscription or 30 days have passed since the sale.
4. Can I promote Travelers Freak offline?
Yes, you can promote Travelers Freak using business cards, postcards, or other offline advertising. Please submit your offline marketing strategy to affiliate@freaksites.com for approval.
5. What promotional methods are allowed?
You may use your affiliate link on websites, social media, emails (in compliance with anti-spam policies), and printed materials. PPC advertising requires prior written approval. Prohibited methods include spam, misleading advertising, and any promotion on illegal websites.
6. How do I track my commissions and referrals?
You can track all your commissions and referrals through your Affiliate Dashboard.
7. Are there any restrictions on how I use affiliate links?
You cannot earn commissions by using your affiliate link for your own purchases. The affiliate who referred you will receive the commission for your purchase. This ensures fairness and integrity in the Freak Sites affiliate program.
You are free to advertise your affiliate link to friends, family, and businesses using various channels, such as business cards, your website, or social media. However, you must comply with our terms, especially regarding spam and unethical advertising practices.
8. What happens if a customer I referred requests a refund?
If a customer you referred requests a refund within their 30-day money-back guarantee, you will not receive a commission for that sale. If you’ve already been paid, the amount will be deducted from future commissions. We only issue payments once your balance reaches the minimum threshold of $25.
9. How can I contact support for affiliate-related questions?
No, there is no cap on your earnings. You can earn as much as you generate through your efforts, including commissions from your direct sales and those made by sub-affiliates you’ve referred.
11. Do I have to purchase a Freak Sites subscription service to be an affiliate?
No, purchasing a subscription is not required to become an affiliate. You can join and earn commissions without any purchase obligations. However, your application must be approved by the company based on our standards and guidelines.
12. How is Freak Sites different from network marketing?
Freak Sites operates as a multi-tier affiliate program, not a network marketing business. Here’s the key difference: with Freak Sites, you earn commissions purely from sales, without the need for personal purchases, monthly volume requirements, or recruiting quotas.
In network marketing companies, distributors often need to:
Purchase kits or pay fees to join.
Meet monthly sales volume requirements to qualify for commissions.
Recruit a certain number of distributors to access different levels of the pay plan.
With Freak Sites, there are no such conditions. You don’t need to make any purchases to qualify for commissions, and there are no monthly volume requirements or recruiting goals. You simply earn based on the sales generated by you and, optionally, the affiliates you refer.
Many traditional businesses, including sales organizations, use multi-tier structures to reward their sales teams, and Freak Sites follows a similar model. By offering multi-tier commissions, we ensure that those who help grow our user base are fairly rewarded. Freak Sites follows a straightforward commission model, rewarding affiliates purely based on sales.
